Christian Stewardship is the human response of faith in Jesus Christ and gratitude for God’s Blessings. Two questions help us in our mission as faithful stewards:
1. Who am I?
2. What do I stand for? (Or why am I here?)
It is virtually impossible to claim personal responsibility for one’s mission as a steward without knowing who you are and what you stand for.
As a Christian, I know that all I am and all I have comes from God and belongs to God. My mission is to do what I believe God wants to accomplish through my life. I am here because of God, to serve God, to be faithful to God’s will for me.
To accomplish my mission in life, I have to be open to change. The answer to the question “Who am I?” includes my beliefs about the person God wants me to become. What sort of person does God want me to become?
I believe God wants me to become a good steward. I believe that God wants me to bless others with the blessings with which God has blessed me.
