We love to learn about the world we live in by searching through home exchange listings and as we prepare our replies to the inquiries of potential home exchange partners who contact us. This is how we learn about so many beautiful places we had never heard of before, but now have added to our list of places “to see” or “to visit.”
We’re sure that many first-time home exchangers feel frustrated when they search home exchange listings and it seems that everyone who wants to go to Florida wants to go to Miami or Orlando. Rather than succumb to your frustration, open yourself up to broader search criteria as you pour through home swap listings. Expand your search to an entire state or country where you want to do an exchange. You might find yourself looking at an exquisite listing in Sonora, California.
In 2010, the population of Sonora was 4,903. Full of historic charm, Sonora is situated in the Sierra, Nevada foothills. Seventy miles to the south is Yosemite National Park.
There is something for everyone to do in Sonora year-round, with its art galleries, theatre, museums, lakes and golf courses. You can relax or be adventurous.
